Dramatic Cut Crease FOTD

I did a look on the spot when I was in a time limit to get ready for work one day and even though I rushed, I loved the way it turned out. I also got a couple complements on it from customers, which is always nice. I tried to re-create it, but it didn't look the same. This is how it turned out this time, but I still liked it so I took some photos for you guys. I hope you guys like it!

Also, just a little side note: I'm currently at 150 followers and I'm thinking of doing a little 'Thank you' giveaway once I reach 250 followers! So stay tuned for that :)

My Everyday Makeup

This has been my go-to look for the past couple of weeks, so I thought I would share it with all of you. While this is my "Everday" makeup lately, it is on the more dramatic side so it might be a little much for those of you who like to keep it natural during the day. Myself, on the other hand, I'd rock glitter eyes at 6 a.m. so this is just right for my taste :) I incorporated neutral shades, like white, brown, and black.

Rhianna "Fly" Music Video Inspired Makeup

This is my interpretation of Rhianna's makeup in the music video for the song "Fly" ft. Nikki Minaj. It's kind of hard to tell how her makeup looks in the video, because it's really dark and there's fog all around, but in the picture above posted during the making of the video on twitter, it shows it much better. To me, it looks like a very sultry purple smokey eye with winged liner and nude lips, so that's what I tried to recreate. Enjoy!

FOTD: Neutral Eye using LORAC Haute Couture Palette in Sand Tropez

I bought this palette a couple of weeks ago during a LORAC Sale on Hautelook. This palette was 1 of 2 palettes made exclusively for hautelook. I purchase Sand Tropez, which was the neutral one, but there was also a smokey eye quad. I have a review on this palette, as well as swatches here!

This is actually a FOTD I did a couple of weeks ago, but I ended up not posting it because I wasn't happy with the way it turned out. But I thought I'd post it anyways, since it's been about a week or so since my last post and I've been super busy with school and starting a new job. I hope you guys like it anyways<3

September Favorites!

MAC Warm Soul Blush- This is the blush that I wear almost every single day, because it is so natural and versatile. It's a shimmery, peachy bronze mineralized blush that gives a sun-kissed glow to your cheeks. It goes well with any kind of eye look, blues, purples, neutrals, smokey eyes, you name it- which is why I love it.

Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer- I stopped using this concealer for awhile because it was too light for me, but recently I rediscovered it, and though it is still too light for me, I put it under my eyes before foundation and just apply my foundation over that for more coverage and so it matches my skin. This is a full coverage concealer. It's so creamy and blend-able.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder- I've been trying not to splurge on my usual MAC powders lately, (I switch between MSF Natural, Studio Fix, and Careblend because I love them all) since I feel like I go through powders so quick, that paying almost $30 is too much to keep repurchasing every two months. So I've been trying to find a good drugstore powder. This one was about $4 and I absolutely love it. It definitely keeps me matte for the entire day whereas with MAC powders, I touched up 1-2 daily. This also comes with 4 grams more products than a Careblend powder, for reference, and for a fraction of the price, so it's a steal :)

Boots7 Intelligent Balance Mousse Foundation- I won't say much about this, because I have a review on it. Click here to see it. I just had to include this though, because it still amazes me how good this makes my skin look and how well this combats my oily skin.

Nivea Kiss of Milk and Honey- I'm really picky when it comes to chap sticks. The smell and taste of them tends to get to me after awhile, no matter how much I loved it at first. The smell of this is pretty natural and I don't get tired of it. The chapstick itself is kinda thick, but extremely moisturizing.

MAC Viva Glam V- This is another rediscovered product. Hadn't used this in months and found it when looking through my lip collection for fall lipsticks to wear. I've been wearing this constantly with neutral and bronzy shades on my eyes and it plays well with them.

Inglot Eyeshadows in Matte 318 and Pearl 435- These are both stark white shades, one being matte and one being shimmery. I alternate the two as a lid shade. I literally use them almost every day too. For some, a stark white would be too harsh to use, but I have hooded eyes that are brown and it really makes my eyelid stand out and makes my brown eyes pop. Also, when blending it together with other colors, it really doesn't look that stark. It leans more of a creamy-off-white when combined with other shades in the crease and outer corner.

Favorite lip combo of the month:
NYX Lipliner in Nude Beige, MAC Honeylove, and NYX Mega Shine Lipgloss in Sugar Pie-
Together these make the perfect nude lip. The lipliner and lipstick are literally the EXACT same color, no differences at all. They are also darker than your average pale nude like MAC's Creme D'Nude or Myth, so it doesn't wash you out. The lipstick is light so it goes well with the darker nudes.
